The Rumpke Landfill in Georgetown accepts waste generated in Brown County, Ohio, as well as from other locations. In addition to garbage, they also accept tires for a fee. Rumpke provides residential and commercial waste collection services, dumpster service, tire recycling, and additional services.

The Brown County Health Department 

The Brown County Health Department receives funding from BCSWA to regularly monitor and conduct weekly inspections of the Rumpke Brown County Landfill to ensure community health and safety. The BCSWA does not have regulatory authority over the landfill's business decisions.
