Recycling
BCSWA provides funding to, and contracts with, Adams Brown Recycling (ABR), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, for a variety of residential recycling services. BCSWA must show that 80% of the Brown County population has sufficient access to residential recycling.
Commercial and Industrial recycling and waste reduction is not addressed here, but goals and information can be found in the the BCSWA plan
Curbside Recycling services
​Residential curbside recycling is a free service available to all residents living inside the
municipal limits of a Brown County village.
Call ABR to register for curbside recycling service,

Community Recycling Drop Off Boxes
Community Recycling Drop off boxes are located in every village and may be used by any Brown County resident. They are only to be used for the recycling of specific materials shown below.
Acceptable Materials to leave at Community Recycling Boxes

Clean & empty - plastic bottles, jars, and/or jugs

Clean & empty - Glass bottles, jars, and/or jugs

Flattened cardboard boxes - no stryofoam or plastic inner packaging
-
Office paper, junk mail, newspaper, catalogues, etc.​
